Redoubles Effort to “Partner” with Retail Jewelers

innocadtech“Difficult times call for greater effort and creativity,” according to the management of Innovative CAD Technologies. In a series of companywide meetings dedicated to reviewing the first two and a half years of service to the industry, the general consensus was that survival, in these economic times, requires a commitment to our most precious resource, our clients. Failure is not an option and to ensure continued growth, the symbiotic relationship between service provider and client needs to be strengthened through aggressive and supportive programs that will stimulate additional sales, thereby benefiting both parties involved.

innocadtechWhen looking back at the progress Innovative CAD Technologies has made from its inception in January of 2007 to the present, one glaring fact seems obvious. Our philosophy of building long lasting relationships between companies was indeed a major factor in the success of our company to date. Through open and honest communication, we have succeeded in helping to stimulate increased sales in those businesses that have recognized the value of custom jewelry design. By now, many of our clients or prospective clients have seen several of our informative newsletters extolling the benefits of custom design. We will not belabor the subject, but rather, propose a new project to assist jewelers in better understanding the overwhelming benefits of increasing their custom work and just how much easier Innovative CAD Technologies can bring it to reality.

Typically, the major strengths of a retail operation is in satisfying and selling the consumer. Breakthroughs in 3-D software programs have enticed many of our clients to foray into the field of computer design. To some extent, this is a natural progression of the easing of the interface between software and user. However, what the software companies do not disclose fully, is the long, arduous learning curve that is necessary to produce a quality model. For some, it works, but for the majority, it is a serious distraction from their priorities, mainly selling the consumer. That is where a quality service bureau, such as Innovative CAD Technologies, becomes a valued “partner” in helping close profitable sales. Service bureaus were created with this in mind. We are, in essence, an extension of your store. Your efforts, in selling the “romance” of an individualized, one of a kind product to the consumer, can easily be brought to fruition by the efforts of a full service bureau. We have, in essence, made the expensive investments in the software necessary, the time and experience required and in the rapid prototyping equipment that is critical to the final outcome. It is economically unsound to expend so much time, money and effort when, through the utility of the service bureau, help is as easy as a phone call, fax or email. In truth, the service company is just a remote location of your business.

QualityThere are many new strategies on the horizon being offered by mass merchandising casting businesses that will highlight revolutionary new software that will be available to the retailer, such as point of counter designing systems. Please understand, while this is a new and potentially useful utility, the reality is that it is not “Custom Design.” Rather, it is only a customizing of stock, everyday run of the mill items, and better used as “fluff” than for substance.

In the coming months, Innovative CAD Technologies will introduce a revolutionary concept in providing the retailers with a meaningful series of functional tools geared at helping the industry through these difficult times. We will be doubling our efforts to become a “partner” in principal with you, to work for the common goal of getting through this temporary downturn and all of us being in an optimum position to garner a greater share of the custom design market when conditions turn around. We will release additional information in subsequent newsletters as the projects develops, but we can assure you that it will be a very exciting and innovative series of tools to reach our common goals.
